Organization Hierarchy Management

Hierarchies represent relationships between organizations.

Hierarchies shows the organizational structure of an organization and its child entities and how they are related to each other. The organizational structure, in which there are successive branchings and subdivisions, helps to understand the affiliations between organizations.

LS Customer 360 enables you to manage legal hierarchy of an organization. You can create new hierarchies and can change the existing hierarchies for organizations. You can also remove an existing hierarchy.The Relationship page enables you to manage an HCO entity’s relationships or affiliations with the other HCOs or HCPs. The Relationship window provides a list of affiliated entities of an HCO.

You can add a new attribute to a particular affiliated entity and can also delete an affiliated entity from the list.

Legal Entities Hierarchy

The Legal Entities Hierarchy is a facet that is displayed on any HCO's Profile page. This facet enables you to add, edit and remove entities as parent entity or child entity.

This facet includes icons such as Show Graph and Scroll to Profile Entity.

  • Show Graph: It lets you to view the graphical representation of the selected HCO's hierarchy and relationships. It also provides different options of graphs that include Graph Type and Layout. You can select your desired option to view the graph. Click the Show Graph icon to view.
  • Scroll to Profile Entity: It allows you to scroll hierarchy facet to the current profile entity.

Creating HCO Hierarchy

Steps to create HCO Hierarchy.

You can add parent and child entities to create hierarchy for an HCO.

  1. Search and select the desired HCO
  2. In the Viewing drop-down list, select Editing.
  3. Place the cursor on Legal Entities Hierarchy facet that shows down-ward arrow icon and edit icon.
  4. Click Downward arrow and select Parent to add a parent or select Child to add a child entity.
  5. In the Select Child text field, enter the name and select the organization.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Save.

Editing an HCO Hierarchy

Steps to edit an HCO Hierarchy.

To edit an hierarchy for an HCO:

  1. Search and select the desired HCO.
  2. In the Viewing drop-down list, select Editing.
  3. Place the cursor on Legal Entities Hierarchy facet that displays Downward arrow and Edit icons.
  4. Click Edit icon that appears against the entity name.
  5. Click the Cross mark to remove entity.
  6. Search and select the new entity, if you want to add a new entity.
  7. Click Close to close the editor.
  8. Click Save.

Deleting HCO Hierarchy

Steps to delete an HCO Hierarchy.

To delete an entity from the hierarchy for an HCO:

  1. Search and select the desired HCO.
  2. In the Viewing drop-down list, select Editing.
  3. Place the cursor on Legal Entities Hierarchy facet that shows Downward arrow icon and Edit icon.
  4. Click the Edit icon that appears against the entity name.
  5. Click the Delete icon.
  6. Click Close to close the editor.
  7. Click Save.
