HCO Profile

An HCO entity profile provides basic information that include entity name, address, contact number and so on.

The Profile page enables you to view the details of an HCO entity.

An HCO entity profile page also includes various facets such as Identifiers, Legal Entities Hierarchy and HCPs affiliated with this HCO. An HCO profile window lets you to perform certain operations such as view, edit, suggest edit and delete. By default, an HCO profile window appears in view mode. This mode allows you to read and print a profile information. When you select the Editing mode, all the text fields become editable and Add buttons appear on various facets. These Add buttons enables you to add additional attributes for the facets.

Suggesting lets you to suggest edits. Users, who have no user privileges to edit or delete profiles directly, can suggest edits or recommend for the removal of the profile. This suggestion will go to the respective data steward for approval. The changes will reflect on the profile page if it is approved. When you select Suggesting mode, all the text fields become editable. But these are edit suggestions that you can make. Delete enables you to remove an HCO profile.

An HCO profile page includes the following facets:

Identifiers: It shows the selected HCO profile's identification number. This can be government provided ID for an organization.

Legal Entities Hierarchy: It shows the legal hierarchy of an organization. This hierarchy shows the relationship or affiliation of an organization with its parent entity and with other related organizations.

HCPs affiliated with this HCO: It shows the list of existing HCPs that are affiliated with the selected HCO profile.

Creating HCO Profile

Steps to create HCO profile.

To create an HCO profile:

  1. Click More > Create Profile > HCO.
  2. Enter name in the Name text field.
  3. Click Create Address and Create Phone links to enter address and contact details.
  4. Specify details in the text fields.

    You can also add identifiers for the profile that you created. On the right Identifiers facet, click Add to specify identifiers.

  5. Click Save.

Editing HCO Profile

Steps to edit HCO Profile.

You can edit HCO profiles and the facets that are part of the profile page. To perform the edit operation:

  1. Search and select desired HCO profile.
  2. On the Profile page, select Editing from the Viewing drop-down list.

    All text fields appear editable mode including facets.

  3. Make changes in the desired text fields.

    You can also add new attributes for facets that include Identifiers, State Licenses, Specialities and so on.

  4. Click Add in the facet area and specify details in the text fields.

    If you want to add additional attributes for a facet, click More Attributes and select desired attributes.

  5. Click Save.

Suggesting

Suggesting mode enables you to recommend edit suggestions on HCO or HCP profiles

When you select Suggesting mode, all the text fields become editable. But these are edit suggestions that you can make. These edit suggestions need to get approved from the data steward to reflect it. If the data steward reject these edit suggestion, these edits will not get reflected on the page.

To suggest edits for an HCO profile:

  1. In the Profile page, search and select your desired profile.
  2. From the Viewing drop-down list, select Suggesting.

    The text fields become editable.

  3. Make required changes in the desired text fields.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting HCO Profile

Steps to delete HCO Profile.

To delete an HCO profile:

  1. In the Profile page, search and select your desired profile.
  2. From the Viewing drop-down list, select Delete.

    A confirmation pop-up appears prompting you to confirm the action.

  3. Click OK.

Recommending for delete

Recommending for delete option.

Recommend for Delete is an option that allows you to suggest the removal of an HCO or HCP profile instead of deleting it directly. So, this suggestion will go to the approval to the data steward. The profile will get removed if it is approved.

To recommend a profile for delete:

  1. In the Profile page, search and select your desired profile.
  2. In the top-right corner of the window, click the leftward arrow icon.
  3. In the pane, click Workflow.
  4. In the drop-down list, select Recommend for Delete.
  5. Enter your comments for this action in the Write your comments text field.
  6. Click Start.

Managing Affiliations

LS Customer 360 enables you to understand and manage healthcare professional and organizational relationships.

It is crucial to understand the relationships among the vast number of Healthcare Professionals (HCP), Healthcare Organizations (HCO) and thier practicing locations. LS Customer 360 enables you to understand and manage healthcare professional and organizational relationships. You can manage all relationships within and across HCOs and HCPs and their related locations. You can create HCP-to-HCO relationships and can edit or remove any existing relationship.

Relationship shows an HCO entity's affiliation with one or more HCPs and vice versa.

The Profile page of an HCO displays various facets that include 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet. This facet allows you to add a new affiliation and edit or remove an existing affiliation.

Adding Relationship

Adding relationship for HCO profile

To add a Relationship affiliation:

  1. Search and select your desired entity (HCO or HCP).

    On the Profile page, you can view the 'HCOs affiliated with this HCP' facet.

  2. From the Viewing drop-down list, select Editing.

    The Add button appears on the 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet.

  3. Click Add on the 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet

    The Add new item section appears.

  4. In the HCO text field, enter the HCO name that you want to affiliate with the selected HCP entity.
  5. Click More Attribute to add additional attributes such as Start Date and End Date.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click Save.

Editing Relationship

  1. Search and select your desired HCO.

    On the Profile page, you can view the 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet with a list of existing affiliated entities.

  2. From the Viewing drop-down list, select Editing.
  3. Click the Edit icon on the right of the desired affiliated entity in the 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet.
  4. Click Change to edit the name of the entity.
  5. Click More Attributes to add attributes such as Start Date and End Date.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click Save.

Removing Relationship

Delete Relationship.

  1. Search and select your desired entity (HCO or HCP).

    On the Profile page, you can view the 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet with a list of existing affiliated entities.

  2. From the Viewing drop-down list, select Editing.
  3. Click Delete icon on the right of the desired affiliated entity in the 'HCPs affiliated with this HCO' facet.
